The Envira Amazonia Project, located in Acre, Brazil, spans 39,301 hectares and aims to reduce over 12,500,000 tCO2e in emissions during its initial 10-year crediting period, with a total project lifespan of 30 years, from August 2, 2012, to August 1, 2042.

Situated adjacent to the Amazon Rainforest, this project protects vital rainforest areas from being converted into pasture for large-scale cattle ranching and local subsistence farming. It plays a crucial role in preserving habitats for endangered species like the Red Howler Monkey and Giant Anteater.

The project also benefits local communities, where over 50% live below the national poverty line. It supports these marginalized groups by providing essential services such as healthcare and quality education. Additionally, the construction of infrastructure has improved access for local residents.

The project has also granted official land titles to local communities, encouraging them to take an active role in conservation and preventing forest degradation. These efforts complement the project's goal of mitigating deforestation and supporting sustainable development in the region.
